Why "from" and not a fixed price on the website?
Because a site for a painter with four services is a different job
from one for a clinic with online bookings. The "from" disappears
after our first conversation: you get a fixed number in the quote
before I start, and that's the number that holds.
How does payment work?
After our chat you get a fixed quote. Once you accept, you pay a
30% deposit. The balance falls due as soon as your website is
finished — before launch. Invoice by email, payable by bank
transfer within 14 days.
What happens if I want to change something after launch?
Small things in the first two weeks after launch I do at no charge
— it's normal for something to come up once you're living with it.
After that, either through the monthly support or one-off by the
hour, always with the cost agreed beforehand.
Do I have to take the Website Partnership?
No, you don't. But honestly: hosting, SSL, security updates and
backups don't disappear just because nobody thinks about them —
right up until the day something goes down and nobody feels
responsible. From $299 AUD a month I take all of it on, so you
never have to think about it again.
Why a 6-month minimum term?
Because SEO and optimisation don't work overnight. I want to make
sure you get the full benefit of the partnership — and don't give
up after 4 weeks, before the work has even become visible. After 6
months you can cancel monthly.
What happens if I don't want the support any more?
After 6 months you can cancel at any time — monthly, to the end of
the month. Your domain and your content stay with you.
Who owns the website in the end?
You do. The domain, content and code are all in your name.
I already have a website. Is it worth switching?
Absolutely. The web keeps moving — search optimisation, AI search,
Google changing its guidelines constantly. A website that was good
a few years ago is often technically out of date today. Send me the
link, I'll have a look and tell you honestly what's worth doing.
That costs you nothing.
How much work is this for me?
One conversation at the start, a few photos and some information
about your services, and two or three rounds of feedback on the
designs. Usually two to four hours all up, spread over several
weeks. I do the rest.
